As the oldest degree granting college at Alabama State University, it is our goal that “when we teach class, the world takes note.” Therefore, I invite you to come visit the College of Education where we offer programs from the Baccalaureate level to the Doctoral level in a range of majors spanning: Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Collaborative Education, Secondary Education, Music Education, Coaching, Health Education, Physical Education, Recreation, Counseling, Applied Technology, Library Media, and Leadership.

We have three departments: Curriculum and Instruction; Health, Physical Education, and Recreation; and Instructional Support Programs. Each of our departments has dedicated professionals posed to assist you in your educational pursuits.
