Campus Resources

At ASU, we care about supporting all students who are impacted by sexual misconduct, dating/domestic violence, stalking, etc. and there are many resources available (on campus and in the community) to assist with various needs related to these issues. If you are concerned about your safety or need medical attention, always call ASU Campus Police at (334) 229-4400, or 911.

Talk to Someone

If you choose to speak to someone, there are two types of resources available: confidential and non-confidential.

  • Confidential resources: Discussions with the counselors at the Student Counseling Center and the advocates at VAWP are confidential.   They are not required to report the incident to the police or university officials unless permitted by you.
  • Non-confidential resources: Discussions with professors, academic advisors, resident assistants, coaches, supervisors and all other University employees are not confidential and should be reported to the Title IX Coordinator, officials with a need to know,  and or police.

If law enforcement determines that there is an ongoing threat to the campus community, essential information will be released to the extent necessary to protect the community. Your identity will remain confidential.
