ASU Deans History Panel: A Conversation to Reflect on the Past, Present and Future
Abernathy Hall, Great Hall of Teachers | 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. | Free
Alabama State University deans have played vital roles in shaping academic and student affairs since the early inception of HBCUs. This event will explore the history of ASU and highlight how deans have interacted with students, faculty, staff, and administration across all levels of the institution. We will celebrate the leadership contributions of ASU deans—past and present—while spotlighting current deans and student affairs administrators who are influencing the future direction of the University for generations to come. Deans from each College and student affairs administrators are invited to engage in this enriching conversation. (This event is sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and the CLASS Culture and Sociality Committee.)
