Mrs. Relena Rochelle Ruffin, a Christian R&B/Soul vocalist and recording artist, serves as Administrative Assistant for the Department of Music at Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama, where she manages the main Music Office daily operations and provides creative and design support with various marketing and media items.

Mrs. Ruffin received the Bachelor degree in Communications from Alabama State University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from South University.

Since the tender age of two, Mrs. Ruffin spent most of her youth mastering her art at home or at school singing in churches, showcases, workshops, and school events. Watching her daughter's talent unfold before her eyes, Relena's mother saw her potential and decided to help mold her daughter by forming a girl group with Relena, her sister, Reena, and her cousin called Angels in Harmony. By the age of twelve, she had released her first album entitled, Dreams.  Ciara, Lauryn Hill, Brandy, Aaliyah, & Beyoncé are just a few amongst Relena's heaviest musical influences. These early experiences led her to songwriting for a number of rising independent local artists. Relena-Rochelle has already made a name for herself with her unique sound, versatility, and infectious personality,  She released her debut album RESET in 2020.  

With over 1.37 million streams and the title of 2024 Avidity Award Worship + 808’s Artist of the Year, she’s becoming a voice of breakthrough for believers navigating real life.
