Tickets are now on sale for one of Montgomery’s premier events – Alabama State University’s 2024 President’s Gala, a philanthropic evening that benefits ASU student initiatives.
The black-tie event, “A Legacy of Gold: A Presidential Golden Affair,” returns to the Dunn-Oliver Acadome on September 21 at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. The Gala celebrates ASU’s rich heritage and stands as testament to the endless possibilities that lie ahead for Alabama State University and its students.
The unforgettable evening includes a delectable meal and an opportunity to mingle with fellow Hornets and friends of the University. Plus, guests will groove to the musical talents of the R&B/Soul group Midnight Star, whose string of hits include “Operator,” “Freak-A-Zoid,” “No Parking on the Dance Floor,” and “Don’t Rock the Boat.”
