In the spirit of patriotism, Alabama State University is honoring all veterans and active duty military personnel (including Reserves and National Guard) with one free ticket to Saturday's (Nov. 12) home game with FAMU, which will be held in The ASU Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
The University is also extending its offer of one free football ticket to River Region
municipal and county government workers - all while supplies last.
"Alabama State University is holding this special Veteran's Day Celebration because
we sincerely wish to honor and thank all veterans for their sacrifice and contributions
to the safety of our nation and community," said ASU President, Dr. Quinton T. Ross,
Jr. “The complimentary tickets are given as part of our CommUniversity initiative
that allows the University to engage with and support the community in various ways.”
Those eligible to receive the complimentary tickets should visit the ASU Ticket Office
located on Harris Way (in front of the ASU Stadium) and present their military or
River Region municipal/county identification card. Only one ticket will be given per
person. Tickets may be picked up during regular business hours today through Nov.
12.
