Alabama State University (ASU) proudly announces the launch of the Global Campus, the University’s dedicated online unit designed to enhance the experience of students enrolled in online programs.
The Alabama State University Global Campus embodies ASU’s dedication to providing dynamic, high-quality education that equips students with the knowledge and skills to lead while honoring and amplifying the rich legacy of the HBCU experience all in a virtual space. This initiative aligns with the University’s mission to prepare students for impactful service and leadership in an ever-evolving global society.
Dr. Patrice W. Glenn Jones, executive director, emphasized the transformative vision behind ASU’s Global Campus.
“Online education is consistently evolving, and at Alabama State, we too are evolving. The Alabama State University Global Campus is about more than academic achievement—it’s about equipping students to navigate and shape an evolving world," Jones said. "In a time where remote work and global connectivity have redefined traditional career paths, our programs, faculty, and support staff provide students with the opportunity to learn from wherever they are, while maintaining a deep connection to the HBCU legacy."
She shared that ASU's approach combines experiential, real-world learning with the resources and personalized support that students need to not only excel but to become creators of an uncertain future.

The ASU Global Campus offers competitive online tuition rates to ensure affordability and accessibility for students:
Undergraduate Programs: $392 per credit hour.
Graduate Programs: $477 per credit hour.

Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (an accelerated program for students with at least 45 credits);
