The National Center for the Study of Civil Rights and African-American Culture at Alabama State University commemorates the 66th anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott with a virtual art exhibition, from December 1 - 21, 2021.
The exhibit includes paintings, and photographs depicting significant events, organizations, and individuals of the bus protest. The artwork, provided by ASU’s Levi Watkins Learning Center Archives, includes highlights of the unique and creative cultural response to racial injustice against African-Americans that have produced a more distinctive and vibrant American identity.
