Melonie McCord-Judkins currently serves as the Director of the Office of Disability Services at Alabama State University (ASU) and liaison/advocate for registered students with disabilities. She has worked in the healthcare, rehabilitation, and disability profession for more than 10 years. Mrs. Judkins has a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Studies with a Concentration in Addictions and a Masters of Rehabilitation Counseling.  She is an active member of AHEAD (Association on Higher Education and Disability). In her role at ASU, Mrs. Judkins is committed to upholding the Americans with Disabilities laws and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 which prohibit discrimination against individuals with disabilities and promotes the removal of barriers for all students with disabilities in their pursuit of academic success. Mrs. Judkins remains dedicated to enhancing the learning experience of the students she encounters at Alabama State University.
