Alabama State University encourages employees to pursue advanced education opportunities. We offer assistance for employees and their spouses and/or dependent children. Learn more:

Education Assistance

Effective January 1, 2018, the University will waive the technology fee for one course per semester. As a full-time employee benefit, the University will now waive the cost of one course and the technology fee associated with the course per semester for employees. One half of tuition is waived on employees' spouse or children. Proof of marriage and dependent status is required.

NOTE: Employees and/or their dependents must complete a tuition waiver prior to or at the time of registration. This ruling supersedes all previous decisions on this matter.

We understand that in today’s world, balancing the demands of work and family are not always easy. That’s why we participate in WorkLifeMatters, which offer support and guidance for many issues facing working adults. Learn more:
