Accessing Your ASU Student Email

 

Alabama State University has established email as a primary form of communication with students, faculty, and staff. All students are required to have a myasu.alasu.edu account; your student account is the official and only email address recognized by the University. Hornets student email is hosted by Google.

GSuite Features:

Your myasu.alasu.edu Email account gives you full access to the complete set of Google GSuite. These tools include:

    GMAIL: Over 6GB of email quota, mail search tools, and integrated chat using your myasu.alasu.edu email address

    Google Calendar: An online calendar tool that allows you to coordinate meetings, schedule events, and share you calendar with others

    Drive, Docs, Sheets, & Slides: ​Create, share and collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in real-time across campus or across the world

Protect Yourself!

Don't share your password with anybody, including your peers, friends, and family members. Nobody at ASU, including Office of Technology Service(OTS), will ever ask for your password. Do not respond to any requests to reveal your password or other private information, including online and email requests. Create a strong password, change your password often, and report to OTS if anyone is using your account without permission. Treat your password like the PIN for your ATM card - as your secret!
