Alabama State University's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is once more offering a 'hands-up' -- at no cost or obligation -- event to local entrepreneurs on how to turn their business dreams and plans into working realities. On April 5, ASU's SBDC, is hosting an online-only event from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. called ''The Business Plan: Roadmap to Success.”
"Our business planning event is all about our professionals at ASU helping individuals who have an idea or a new business and need to know what are some of the tried and true methods of doing all one can to make it work," said Andrea Rogers Mosley , executive director of ASU's SBDC. "A well written and developed plan helps put a business owner's vision in focus and sets forth a formal road for the owner to follow with both short and long term goals."
She explained that during the two-hour workshop, participants will learn the basics of how to write a business plan. The course will also review each component of the plan along with what is needed to create financial projections.
This event is co-hosted by Alabama State University's SBDC and the Montgomery City-County Public Library.
