The Time is Now

Welcome to Alabama State University’s 2020 Reaffirmation website.

We are about to embark on a two-year journey called the Reaffirmation Process. This is the time that the University has an opportunity to demonstrate to our accrediting body SACSCOC, that the University is compliant with its standards and policies.

Earning and maintaining accreditation is one of the most important ways that ASU assures our constituents of the quality of our educational programs, fulfilling the mission, and our commitment to the continuous improvement. This process involves all of Hornet Nation…our faculty, staff, students, alumni…and the River Region as a whole.
